Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of ReviewBay at reviewbay.app. By creating an account or using any ReviewBay service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account or use the platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. ReviewBay is currently in beta, open to small businesses in Texas.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, all activity that occurs under your account, and ensuring your business profile information is accurate and up to date.
ReviewBay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. What ReviewBay Does
ReviewBay helps you get more Google reviews through three things: automated outreach to your warm network (people who already know your business), a public directory profile that helps customers and AI tools find you, and a verified lead channel where directory visitors pay $5 to unlock your contact info.
Use the platform for those purposes.
4. Review Solicitation
When you use ReviewBay to send review requests, you're the sender. That comes with responsibilities.
You must only import contacts with whom you have a genuine existing relationship — customers, vendors, colleagues, people who have actually interacted with your business. Don't import purchased lists, scraped emails, or people who have no reason to recognize your name.
You must comply with CAN-SPAM. ReviewBay includes your business name and an unsubscribe link in every outreach email. Unsubscribes are honored automatically and permanently — if someone asks to stop, they stop, and you cannot override that.
You may not send review requests for businesses you don't own or control. Each business needs its own account.
5. Honest Reviews Only
ReviewBay asks your contacts to leave honest, voluntary reviews based on their actual experience with your business. Incentivizing reviews — offering discounts, gifts, or payment in exchange for a review — violates Google's policies and these Terms.
You may not solicit or facilitate fake reviews, reviews from people who haven't worked with your business, or reviews that misrepresent any experience. Accounts found doing this will be suspended.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Leave fake or incentivized reviews on Google or any other platform.
- Review-gate customers (conditioning the ability to leave feedback on whether the review will be positive).
- Create multiple accounts for the same business or operate accounts on behalf of businesses you don't own.
- Use automated tools to interact with the platform.
- Harass, spam, or threaten other members or contacts.
- Misrepresent your business in your public directory listing.
- Circumvent any security, rate limiting, or fraud prevention measure.
7. Public Directory and Leads
Your business profile is public, indexed by search engines, and designed to be discoverable by AI tools. That's a core part of the product's value. You can remove your profile at any time from account settings.
When a directory visitor submits a lead through your public profile, their contact details are delivered to your inbox. Leads are free to receive. We don't guarantee any lead will turn into business or that you'll receive a minimum volume of leads.
8. Directory Boost
You can pay $5 to boost your listing in the directory for 24 hours. Boosts are non-refundable once applied.
9. Subscriptions and Billing
ReviewBay costs $49.99/month (billed monthly) or $39.99/month (billed annually). Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime from your account settings before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact billing@reviewbay.app within 7 days of the charge. We handle disputes case by case. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
10. Affiliate Program
ReviewBay's affiliate program is powered by Stripe Connect. If you participate, you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Payouts are processed by Stripe. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the affiliate program with reasonable notice.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the ReviewBay platform are owned by ReviewBay, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.
You retain ownership of the business information you submit. By submitting content, you grant ReviewBay a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content in the directory for as long as your account is active.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Your profile, contacts, and outreach history are removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice if the violation is serious. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a violation, we'll provide a prorated refund for any unused paid period.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
ReviewBay is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, the number of reviews you'll receive, the volume of leads you'll get, or any specific business outcome. The product helps you do honest outreach. Results depend on your contacts, your business, and factors outside our control.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of ReviewBay after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
